I have the Fishman Matrix transducer/preamp in my Martin(1959 0-15).I like it as you cannot find a transducer out there without shortcomings.I have heard the arguments for and against the Fishman.I will tell you this-the unit rarely fails or causes problems,they work well at high volume and with EQ gadgets like a Para DI.It sounds a little middy(by itself),but gives a real nice pick quality,thing in conjunction with,using a large diaphragm condenser mic when recording.I have tried a few others but they have not proved out to be that much better or worse.The Fishman I have been using since 1997 on the gig/in the recording studio.
